PRACTICE EXPERIENCE
James has been involved in a wide range of legal fields within the domain of business law, which includes intellectual property rights, securities litigation, mergers and acquisitions and labor issues.
James has in dept knowledge in issues concerning Directors' Liability. He represented the main Defendant in the highest publicized group of cases in 2015-18 i.e. the "Ting Hsin Oil" cases concerning various criminal allegations of public fraud, criminal health violations etc., on suspected oil products sold to the public masses in Taiwan. He also defended UMC, one of the largest semiconductor foundries in Taiwan against allegations made on criminal breach fiduciary duty in the famous Republic of China, Taiwan v. UMC and He Jiang Technology case.
